Ok, I left a can of shaving cream on my bathroom counter. The bottom was rusty and left the above stain on the counter. I tried all kinds of cleanser and couldn't get it out.
Any suggestions from you guys are deeply appreciated.
I bought this bottle of Hanwai multi-rust remover. Active ingredient is Potassium Hydroxide. It worked as directed, but it left a residue on my hands and it was a bear to wash it off.
If you still have the problem, you can go to "Ng Kam Po" (the Five Gold Shop) and buy the rust removing powder. It is very effective, I learned this from a handyman.

ReplyDeleteYes, I did and bought bottle of potassium hydroxide liquid and it worked, although I had to use it with an abrasive metal scraper.
